This document outlines both the challenges and opportunities facing university libraries in the 21st century. It discusses headwinds such as financial pressures and lack of agility. However, it also presents opportunities for university libraries to become innovation incubators and leverage data science. The vision is for libraries to create impactful experiences for users through innovative services, spaces, and resources.

#4: Most people when think of their university library, conjure up positive images of books, study tables and comfortable seating. These elements remain important to the modern library, but we also need to embrace innovation and constantly endeavor to redefine what our libraries are and what they can contribute to the priorities of our university.
