I've been at MSU since 2007. I have
the most fun at work when I'm
cataloging zines and comics or
hearing about the weird things that
other catalogers at MSU are working
on. I help organize Mid-Michigan
Zine Fair.

Simone is Art Center's unofficial
zine librarian and the de-facto
guardian of the zine collection,
having developed ongoing zine
programming at the library,
including free zine-making
workshops for students. Her work is
inspired and enriched by the
creativity of the incredible students
she encounters daily.

Community Outreach Librarian
Kelly was a long time volunteer at
ZAPP in Seattle, a current volunteer
for the Portland Zine Symposium, and
has a three month old kitten at home.

KELSEY SMITH
Lacey Timberland Library
Adult Services Librarian Senior
Kelsey works at a busy public library
by day and does too many side
projects by night. She started the zine
collection at the Olympia Timberland
Library, which is now at 1,500 titles
and counting. She is a member of
Community Print Letterpress
Collective, an organizer for the first
ever Olympia Zine Fest (coming up in
October!), and the mom of a rad 21
year old daughter named Cleo. She
makes some little zines when time
permits.
