4. Zach's story was the one that really stood out to me. Like him, I don't
live with my dad, but his life seemed more rough. It showed me how
even when his life was rough he did not give up and always tried in
school. At the end, after trying and trying he got a great job in Linkedin.
The story from Zach stood out to me the most because even though he
didn't grow with a father and how the same thing happened to his little
brothers, he did not give up on himself or his brothers. He worked hard
for what he wanted.
I like Zach's story of when he went from a kid without a father, to a
man with people respecting him for his kindness. He mentioned many
hardships that he had went through, but he made it to LinkedIn, and it
gave him a opportunity to succeed in life.
5. Orlando's story stood out to me when he was in school, he would get
his friends grades that were good and he would cut them out and put
them on his. He would then scan it then send it to his parents.
Orlando's personal story stood out me because he said that he had
bad grades during high school but he was able to turn that around, go to
college, and work at LinkedIn. His personal story showed me that you
can never let something get in the way of what you dream about and
that with a little hard work you can accomplish anything.
Loni's, the recruiter, story stood out to me most, when she talked about
how she didn't go to college and still got to work in a such great
company.
6. Everybody is unique. There is only one of you. So give the world
whatever it is that you have to offer.
To try your hardest even if you get bad grades and other problems
that are happening to you.
Rebeccas story stood out to me because I was surprised in how she
studied history in the middle east and how she ended up working at a
Tech place like Linked In. It showed me how you don't have to be a
technology person to work at LinkedIn.
10. Thank you so much for the jobs that you
guys taught us about and how you taught
that you didn't really have to have a STEM
degree to get a job at LinkedIn, which really
helped me expand my careers that I want to
major in. I also really appreciated that you
guys could relate to us and that motivated
us, and to help us make our LinkedIn
account to help us, thank you for that!
Thank you for taking time out of your
busy schedules to talk to us. Your stories
have really motivated me to do well in
school and possibly pursue a career in
the tech industry.
Thank you so much for making this visit unforgettable. The
transportation, speeches, and food was amazing. We can tell
from the workers experience how much LinkedIn cares about
their workers and helps them grow not only in their field of
work but also as individuals and human beings. The LinkedIn
environment was amazing, everyone was so nice and with a
great attitude and well who knows maybe I'll end up applying
their and getting an ever better experience of what it's like to
be part of such an amazing community. Once again thank you
for hosting us in this field trip and I hope you continue to do
this in the future because I think teens really deserve to know
more about your amazing company.
____
I really really really appreciated this experience. I loved
everything at LinkedIn and I believe that going to visit, riding in
the buses and the presentation that was given was great and
very informative. I would love to go back and learn more
about the company. Also! The vibes in the company were
super positive and friendly.
11. Thank you for taking the time and
making the effort to share your culture
at linkedin with our AVID program. We
are a feel good group of students, and
your kindness and energy just gave us
a sense of motivation.
Thank you LinkedIn for a once in a lifetime
experience. I have learned so much from this
trip, from the different types of careers in the
Silicon Valley and to having great food
provided. I now know what I think I would
like to do in the future, thanks to all of you.
Thank you for giving us a look on how the company
LinkedIn works. The food was great and organic which I
loved even more, and it was really nice how you guys
give food to the less fortunate. The tour was amazing as
well because of your company we got a better look at
the different careers you could get. Also the employees
were very kind and nice and they always gave a smile.
_______
Thank you so much for allowing us to have this fun
experience at this beautiful company. The story's that
were shared with us really stuck on and all taught us
about how to react when life hits yo with a tough
obstacle. I also really enjoyed the food and froyo
machine!
12. I want to thank LinkedIn for having us there this past
Wednesday. I had a great time at the cafeteria
eating all these diverse foods that I have never had
before. It was my first time eating Indian food, and
thanks to the cooks it was really good. I also want
to thank the tour guides for teaching us all about
the company and what its like to get there and
work there. My favorite part of the field trip was
actually when the speakers came and talked to us. I
really want to thank them for motivating me and
telling us that anything is possible.
Thank you LinkedIn for providing us with really good
information about the company. I learned a lot
when it comes to the positions in the company and
as to the different majors that you can get and still
work there. I met a lot of friendly and passionate
people that told me about their experiences and
their path to LinkedIn.
I really enjoyed how the employees
took their time to talk to us and tell us
about their stories and journeys. What I
took away from the day was how
great the community was and how
everyone was very kind to one
another.
____
Thanks LinkedIn. I learned so much,
especially from the recruiters field that I
never knew existed. The whole day was
exciting, from riding in the bus to
talking with employees during lunch.
13. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity ! I
really appreciate the fact that LinkedIn gives back to
our community ! Thank you for the tour, bus,
presentations, and yes, the food! I'm glad I went to
visit the company because I got so much valuable
information that could help me in the future. I'm
happy you all are happy working on a company
that helps people all around the world to connect
and succeed. It inspires many of us!
Thank you so much!
I want to thank that Linkedin allowed us in their
buildings because sometimes teenagers may
seem that they don't behave themselves. Also I
want to thank that that they took us in their
fancy buses and allowed employees to take
the day showing us what was Linkedin.
Thank you LinkedIn for providing us with your
transportation. Also, I feel thankful for having
mac and cheese for lunch. Most of all, thanks
for telling us your stories. Maybe it might have
been hard to tell them but it made me feel more
welcome to the company and the workers.
_____
Thank you, LinkedIn and employees for taking
the time to show us around your work
environment. Also thank you for sharing your
personal experiences, advice, and more
information about your jobs.
14. Thank you LinkedIn for letting us tour in your
company. I really liked Zach's presentation of
his life and how he got to LinkedIn. I also
liked my tour guide, Orlando and how he
told us his story of how he got to LinkedIn
and also showing the best part of LinkedIn
that appealed to us a lot, like the game
room and the snack room.
I'd like to thank LinkedIn and all the employees for
helping me be more familiar with the tech industry.
Before I came to LinkedIn, I thought that only
engineers or programmers could work in tech
companies but now I know that with almost any
career you could work in tech companies.
Thank you LinkedIn for providing us with delicious
food for lunch and sparing your time to show us
around the campus. I had really fun at LinkedIn and
learning new things like what each of you guys do
there and what you did to get where you are now.
Thank you.
____
Thank you LinkedIn for providing the transportation
and the free meal. We really appreciate the fact
that you took some time off of your work to show us
around your workplace. We also thank you for the
presentation that you gave us. Some of the stories
are very interesting and engaging, especially after
a big meal.
15. Dear LinkedIn, I had lots of fun going to visit the
company. I learned a lot for this and I found it
really cool that whatever you choose to major in
you still have a shot at working with you guys. I
learned that I should not be down about things
and instead make things better by being happy.
I'd like to say thank you for letting us
attend your company, it opened my
eyes to new ideas about the careers I
want to enter. Everyone at Linkedin was
so polite, and intellectual. I really
enjoyed listening to the speakers like
Han, Lani, and Zack.
Thank you linkedIn for letting us go to your
company and learn that their is a job for
everyone their. If i had not gone I would have
never known that their are many different
options and that their is something that i would
probably like. Yesterday was amazing thank you
for everything.
______
Thank you LinkedIn for letting us experience, the
idea of working in a tech company. This field trip
gave me assurance that if I choose an major, I
will be able to find a job after college. I learned
so much and had an amazing time. Thank you
again.
