First Cabinet Meeting of the 2008-2009 Lions year

Dinner at 6:30 with meeting to follow

Grosse Pointe Lions Club is on the move..
We set up the "Lester Scherrer Fund" with Penrickton and
gave them a check for $3000 to initiate it. Lester was our
treasurer for over 30 years and recently passed away. In
photo is our Pres. Bill Hollister, Kurt Sebaly, and Lester's
children, and Pass President John Moran.
Our annual Selfridge Airforce Base Golf
Outing was a success. Part of the monies raised
we gave a $1000 check to local student Gary
Abud, Jr. who raised funds on behalf of MI Judge Benjamin Stanczyk received his 50 year
Eye Bank since he has a degenerative vision Chevron Award membership pin from
