The homeroom program at the Luanda International School aims to improve teacher-student relationships and reduce student issues. Each homeroom has two teachers and students have 100 minutes of protected time per week to discuss wellbeing topics. The wellbeing curriculum covers personal growth, citizenship, relationships, decision-making, and overall wellness. It uses textbooks and resources to educate students on issues like cyberbullying, physical/emotional changes, health, careers, and stress management. The school counseling team supports the program by providing psychological and advisory services to students.
