Lisa Car

Lisa Car is a senior at Clemson University studying graphic communications with a minor in political science. She has extensive experience in photography, design, marketing, and project management through various internships. Currently she is the South Carolina State Chair for Young Americans for Liberty and the president of the Clemson University chapter. She maintains a high GPA while actively participating in student organizations.

 and  marketing  materials,  assisting  in  structural  design,  pre-­‐ flighting  print  files,  collaborating  on  design  projects,  project  management,  and  install  management.     Resident  Assistant  at  Clemson  University  (Clemson,  SC)    [August  2012  -­‐  December  2013]   Was  employed  as  a  residential  assistant  in  a  First  Year  Experience  resident  community  at  Clemson  University.   Duties  included  living  in  the  residential  community,  developing  the  community  through  creating  unique   programing,  communicating  effectively  with  residents  and  employers,  and  leading  through  example.       Project  Manager/Color  Management  Intern  at  National  Print  Group  (Chattanooga,  TN)    [May  2013  -­‐  August  2013]   Duties  included  ensuring  jobs  were  entered  correctly,  scheduled,  followed  the  anticipated  timeline  and  handled   any  issues  that  arose  throughout  the  production  of  the  job.  Additionally,  work  with  color  management  included   correcting  customer  files  for  color,  assisting  with  press  checks,  ripping  files  for  print  and  profiling  various  presses.   Photography  and  Video  Production  Intern  at  ia  Productions  (Boulder,  CO)      [May  2012  -­‐  August  2012]   Worked  on  numerous  photography  and  video  production  projects,  coordinated  and  scheduled  University  in  the  Fall  of  2011.  Held  weekly   meetings  as  well  as  planned  campaign  events  on  campus  and  the  surrounding  community.  Was  interviewed  on   The  Erin  Burnett  Show  on  CNN  for  work  on  the  Ron  Paul  2012  presidential  campaign.     Officer  in  MCJORTC  at  Nation  Ford  High  school;  which  included  a  position  on  the  leadership  and  planning  team.   Attended  weekly  leadership  meetings,  led  and  planned  JROTC  events,  and  held  a  classroom  commander  position.
