The narrator's little brother Arthur had an accident where he fell into the pool after being pushed by the narrator. Though Arthur was fine after seeing the doctor, the parents began devoting all their attention to Arthur and ignoring the narrator. Due to feeling replaced and jealous, the narrator considers harming Arthur with a skipping rope out of anger over the changed family dynamics.

My little brother’s name is Arthur. This afternoon, I pushed himinto
thepool. He fell in witha big splashand startedmaking glug glug
sounds. Just whenI thought he was about to drown, he managedto cry
out for help and momand dad came running.
Momwas crying becauseshe thought that Arthur was dead. He wasn’t.
The doctor came and Arthur is doing very well now. He askedfor cake
with jamand, eventhoughtit was 8 o’clockand past his bedtime, my
mother gave it to himanyway.

Arthur was very happy and very proud withall the attentionhe
was getting. Everybody was asking himquestions. Momasked
himhow he had fallen into the pool. Arthur just said he
slipped. It was Smart of himto say that. He knows mom hates a
tattle-tale.
The other day, whenI was wrapping a skipping rope around
his neck, he struggled out of my grip and ran to complain to
mom. He said I had been trying to strangle him. Mom told him
he shouldn’t say suchthings and gave hima good spanking.
When dad came home and found out what Arthur said, he was
also very angry. Arthur didn’t get any dessert. Then he
understood. This time, he knewbetter than to tell momI
pushedhiminto the pool.

I also asked momif I couldhave cake with jam. I asked her three
times, but she pretended not to hear me. Maybe she suspects that I
was theone who pushed Arthur.
Before, I was always nice and kind to Arthur, becausemomand dad
spoiled me as much as they spoiledhim. Whenhe got a new toy car,
I got a new doll. Momwould never have givenArthur cake without
giving it to me as well. But last month, momand dad completely
changed.

Now, they devote all their attentionto Arthur. He gets gifts all the time. It has made him
very big-headed. He was always a bit of a pain in the neck, but nowhe is insufferable. He is
constantly asking for this and that. Momand dadalways give him whatever he asks for.
The only time they scoldedhim was the day I triedto strangle him with the skipping rope.
That was funny because, for once, it wasn’t his fault.
I wonder why momand dad suddenly stopped loving me. It looks like I am no longer their
little girl. Whenever I Kissmomon the cheek, she doesn’t evensmile. Dadis the same way.
Whenthey go for a walk, I always tag along, but they don’t pay any attentionto me. If I’m
playing on the roador doing something dangerous, they don’t evencare.
Arthur can be nice occasionally, but most of the time, he refuses to play withme. The other
day, I askedhim why momand dad had become so cold to me. He lookedup at me with
a sly smile and refusedto answer. He did it on purpose to enrage me. That was the day
I wrappedthe skipping rope aroundhis neck. I was so mad that, despite the spanking he
had received, I went intohis roomafterwards and told him that I would kill him.

This afternoon, he told me that mom, dad and him
were goingto the seaside and that they weren’t
bringing me withthem. Then, he laughed and stuck
out his tongue and made faces at me. So I pushed
himintothe pool.
Arthur is sleeping now and momand dad are
watching TV. The skipping rope was just lying in the
garden, so I pickedit up. In a moment, I’ll sneak into
Arthur’s bedroomand, this time, I won’t give hima
chance to scream. That way, momand dad will be
forcedto go to the seaside without him. And after they
leave, I’ll go down to the end of the gardenand climb
back into that horrible whitebox they buriedme in…

The bear wakes up early one morning feeling sleepy but decides to go fishing. On his way to the lake, he meets either Masha or Tiger. If he meets Tiger, Tiger invites him to the circus but the bear wants to go fishing. If he meets Masha, she asks him to teach her to play ball. The story follows the bear's interactions with Masha and Tiger and the choices he makes between fishing and other activities.

In this slide try to present the brief history of Chaulukyas of Gujrat up to Kumarpala To keep the facts in a natural form and to display the material in more detail, the help of various books, websites and online medium has been taken. Whatever medium the material or facts have been taken from, an attempt has been made by the presenter to give their reference at the end. Chaulukya or Solanki was one of the Rajputs born from Agnikul. In the Vadnagar inscription, the origin of this dynasty is told from Brahma's Chauluk or Kamandalu. They ruled in Gujarat from the latter half of the tenth century to the beginning of the thirteenth century. Their capital was in Anahilwad. It is not certain whether it had any relation with the Chalukya dynasty of the south or not. It is worth mentioning that the name of the dynasty of the south was 'Chaluky' while the dynasty of Gujarat has been called 'Chaulukya'. The rulers of this dynasty were the supporters and patrons of Jainism.

1. LITTLE BROTHER By Densy Tamayo

2. My little brother’s name is Arthur. This afternoon, I pushed himinto thepool. He fell in witha big splashand startedmaking glug glug sounds. Just whenI thought he was about to drown, he managedto cry out for help and momand dad came running. Momwas crying becauseshe thought that Arthur was dead. He wasn’t. The doctor came and Arthur is doing very well now. He askedfor cake with jamand, eventhoughtit was 8 o’clockand past his bedtime, my mother gave it to himanyway.

3. Arthur was very happy and very proud withall the attentionhe was getting. Everybody was asking himquestions. Momasked himhow he had fallen into the pool. Arthur just said he slipped. It was Smart of himto say that. He knows mom hates a tattle-tale. The other day, whenI was wrapping a skipping rope around his neck, he struggled out of my grip and ran to complain to mom. He said I had been trying to strangle him. Mom told him he shouldn’t say suchthings and gave hima good spanking. When dad came home and found out what Arthur said, he was also very angry. Arthur didn’t get any dessert. Then he understood. This time, he knewbetter than to tell momI pushedhiminto the pool.

4. I also asked momif I couldhave cake with jam. I asked her three times, but she pretended not to hear me. Maybe she suspects that I was theone who pushed Arthur. Before, I was always nice and kind to Arthur, becausemomand dad spoiled me as much as they spoiledhim. Whenhe got a new toy car, I got a new doll. Momwould never have givenArthur cake without giving it to me as well. But last month, momand dad completely changed.

5. Now, they devote all their attentionto Arthur. He gets gifts all the time. It has made him very big-headed. He was always a bit of a pain in the neck, but nowhe is insufferable. He is constantly asking for this and that. Momand dadalways give him whatever he asks for. The only time they scoldedhim was the day I triedto strangle him with the skipping rope. That was funny because, for once, it wasn’t his fault. I wonder why momand dad suddenly stopped loving me. It looks like I am no longer their little girl. Whenever I Kissmomon the cheek, she doesn’t evensmile. Dadis the same way. Whenthey go for a walk, I always tag along, but they don’t pay any attentionto me. If I’m playing on the roador doing something dangerous, they don’t evencare. Arthur can be nice occasionally, but most of the time, he refuses to play withme. The other day, I askedhim why momand dad had become so cold to me. He lookedup at me with a sly smile and refusedto answer. He did it on purpose to enrage me. That was the day I wrappedthe skipping rope aroundhis neck. I was so mad that, despite the spanking he had received, I went intohis roomafterwards and told him that I would kill him.

6. This afternoon, he told me that mom, dad and him were goingto the seaside and that they weren’t bringing me withthem. Then, he laughed and stuck out his tongue and made faces at me. So I pushed himintothe pool. Arthur is sleeping now and momand dad are watching TV. The skipping rope was just lying in the garden, so I pickedit up. In a moment, I’ll sneak into Arthur’s bedroomand, this time, I won’t give hima chance to scream. That way, momand dad will be forcedto go to the seaside without him. And after they leave, I’ll go down to the end of the gardenand climb back into that horrible whitebox they buriedme in…
