The Livermore Valley App allows users to view information about local wineries and businesses. It separates listings into categories like Wineries and Events. Winery listings include basic info for free listings, but enhanced listings add photos, maps, websites and more. Users can see special deals, featured businesses, and view social media profiles of other app users nearby on an interactive map. The app aims to provide a comprehensive local business directory and guide to the Livermore Valley area.

Welcome to an overview of the Livermore Valley App
After youve downloaded the App from the iTunes store, youll see the menu. The App is separated into various categories. Tap the Wineries button to see all the wineries.
Now you have a directory listing of all the wineries. Note that the wineries are sorted by distance from the user. The yellow dot means either that winery has added something new to their listing since you last viewed it or you have never viewed it before.
Tap on a winery, and youll see one of two layouts. If the Winery has chosen a free listing, youll see basic information, such as address, phone, a brief description, and a photo.
If the winery has chosen an enhanced listing, this is where all of the bells and whistles come into play! See a gallery of photos showing the winery Tap to go to their website Tap the map and get directions Tap to email them Join their Twitter or Facebook Watch a video Add them to your favorites
From the map, view a single winery/business or tap Show All Items to see nearby wineries.
Tap the right arrow to either view the item or get directions to the winery
By clicking on the video icon on the bottom of a listing, watch videos that the business has uploaded.
Preview a play, concert, or movie.
Tap Events to see the various events the Livermore Valley is offering.
From the App home screen, tap Social. Tap Map See everyone who is currently using the app Tap Show My Friends to broadcast to your Twitter or Facebook where you are and what a great time youre having!
To set up your social networking: Tap Settings Tap Facebook is Not Connected or Twitter Setup Type in your Facebook email address and password and tap CONNECT
Remain anonymous on the map OR let your friends know where you are by setting up your Display Name from the Settings icon
From the App home screen, tap Specials to see deals that are being offered from local businesses for you.
From the App home screen, tap Featured to see which businesses are being highlighted.
