The document discusses Google Glass and its potential for innovation. It describes a hackathon where over 500 hours were spent by 7 teams of 40 developers, designers, and managers creating 8 apps for Glass by the end of the day. Some app ideas included facial recognition for conferences, a paintball heads-up display, and a city tour guide. It encourages attendees to develop apps for Glass using its Mirror API and share their ideas.

Using Glass to make paint ball even more like a video game by having stats and Outdoor ¨C get glass to recognise posters and out door images and then send data back to a users phone. Our demo recognised a star trek poster and then send a review to glass and a synopsis to the users phone.Facial ¨C allows you to take a picture of a persons face at a conference and then view their details. Never forget someone's name and business cards are so last yearCity tour guide ¨C instead of using an expensive bus tour this app guides you through London using regular busses and underground and can speak back to you interesting facts about all the sights of LondonHardware hack ¨C we had our lead Android developer connect Glass to his computer to really dig down into the device and find its limitations and shortcomings. This has really help us understand better how to use glass.
