- 4. Conversion to Foreign Currency How I changed my foreign currency is depending how much the exchange is for. For example I spend $147 and the exchange was $15 pesos per dollar, so that means I spend $2,205 pesos. I multiply the dollar amount times 15. $147x15= $2,205.I chose mexican pesos because I think it would be easy for me.
