Caliber Schools is a charter school organization in Richmond, California that offers kindergarten through 8th grade students a rigorous college preparatory public education. Caliber partners with Love. Learn. Success. (LLS) to provide after-school care that supports students' academic goals. Caliber leverages its innovative, rigorous education strategies to instruct students in kindergarten through eighth grade at Beta Academy, where it partners with Love. Learn. Success. (LLS) to ensure that students receive after-school care that supports their academic goals. LLS works to provide a safe, educationally enriching environment for students following the normal school day, partnering with schools to develop programs that support their educational objectives and foster a lifelong love of learning. Working closely with principals, teachers, and parents, LLS designs an after-school curriculum that aligns with each schools academic curriculum.
Programs support reading and math comprehension while bolstering critical thinking and life skills. Additionally, LLS helps students to discover new interests with activities involving the fine arts, performing arts, and physical fitness. At Caliber Beta Academy, students have the opportunity to attend LLS classes in subjects including science, gardening, nutrition, and Spanish. LLS enrichment classes also include courses in cooking, illustration, hip-hop, and Chinese culture. Additionally, Caliber students can stay active after school with LLS classes in Zumba, basketball, and general sports.
