This document discusses the location chosen for filming a horror trailer - Porchester Castle in Hampshire, England. Porchester Castle was selected because the story is based on a local myth about a girl named Charlotte White. It is also easily accessible to the filmmakers. Scenes will be shot at different areas of the castle grounds, including the woods, shore, car park and Charlotte White's grave site inside the castle graveyard. The filmmakers intend to shoot at dusk to create a scary atmosphere.

Location: Porchester Castle
Location We used Google maps to take the pictures in these slides, the bird eye view shots really show the whole area and will help us map out where we will take the different shots and the close up images are to show the area in a bit more depth. We chose to use Porchester castle because our story is based around a myth about a girl called Charlotte White. The location is ideal because all members of the group are able to access it as it is a local ground. As a group we decided we wanted to shoot our trailer just as it starts to get dark (around 4/5 O’clock) because we want it to be as realistic as possible.
Full view Car park This is a birds eye view of the location of our horror trailer. We have chosen Porchester Castle for our location because of its history and spookiness. This is where Charlotte White’s grave sits and we shall be shooting sections from this part of the castle. We want to shoot our trailer when it starts getting dark, around 4/5 o’clock to create a scary atmosphere This is the woods we will be filming in, we We will be shooting at the will have a few shots shore and taking pictures of our characters for our magazine cover and running through poster here. here.
Car park The car park is where our first shots will take place, the group of girls will drive into the car park ready for the night that awaits them. The pictures on the right show that the car park is very small, we want to create the feeling that there is nothing else around apart from the characters and the location.
Grave Yard. Having based our trailer around the story of Charlotte white we thought it would be a good idea if we took a few shots of her grave stone which is situated Charlotte white was a young girl who died many on the inside of the caste in the grave years ago at the castle, to have the grave stone yard. there it will make the trailer seam realistic and hopefully make the audience a bit apprehensive.
