Tunnel 1 Positives • Textures of the tunnel make it interesting to film • The silhouettes make it a bit different to most other music videos • The silhouettes also give an ambiguity to the genre and an interesting effect • You can also get a clear image with a flash so it gives us options • It’s a versatile background so it gives us options to film a lot of scenes • It’s easy to get to Negatives • It may get tricky to film in wet weather • Someone might slip over • The equipment might get stolen • The equipment might get damaged • A member of the public might get in the shot • Filming might be interupted by members of the public • Someone might get hit by a cyclist • A cyclist/runner might bump in to equipment

Tunnel 2 Positives • Versatile background means we have lots of options • Has natural lighting which is flattering • The leaves add to atmosphere and could be used to show anger by crumpling them • Easy to get to • Similar tunnel look to most music videos Negatives • More open as a result likely to see people in the background • Not as textured as tunel one therefore not as interesting to film as a background • Roof is a lot higher doesn’t give the effect of being enclosed and isolation • Being more open means we can’t do the idea of a silhouette as too much light would be coming in.
