This media log book documents the production process of a student thriller film. It records story development meetings, research into thriller conventions, creation of props lists and filming schedules, and multiple filming sessions. Key events included an initial brainstorming meeting to discuss story ideas, surveys of the target audience, analysis of successful thriller openings for inspiration, treatment outlining the film's plot and style, and two filming sessions to capture necessary shots and fix any continuity errors in editing. The log provides details of tasks and creative work undertaken by the film's director and cast to organize and execute the production.

Production Meeting
03/05/2015
This was our 鍖rst production meeting
on our main thriller sequence. Here
we discussed our main ideas in what
we all had for the 鍖lm. We started off
with a brainstorm and we thought
about the different ideas in which we
would like to 鍖lm about. These were
items such as the ideas behind the
story in the 鍖lm, such as the idea of
isolation we all agreed on was a good
idea because it conformed with the
thriller genre.

Survey - 04/05/2015 I created a survey with survey monkey
as part of our research for the task, so
our group could 鍖nd out what
appealed to our age audience that we
were presenting our 鍖lm to. This was
key to 鍖nding out what we wanted to
do with our 鍖lm and gave us some
useful ideas, such as using a 鍖lter
over the 鍖lm to make it appear more
mysterious.
