Samples of the vegetables, soil, and water were tested for levels of copper, zinc, lead, chromium, cadmium, and manganese. Results found high levels of lead in both vegetables across all areas, exceeding safe limits. Zinc also exceeded limits in some areas. Chromium and cadmium were detected at some sites.
