Luz Martes was born in St. Luke's Hospital in Harlem, New York in 1998 and still visits her doctor there. She lives in Harlem with her mother and two brothers since her father passed away. She enjoys singing, reading The Boxcar Children books, and writing in her diary. Her favorite place to visit is Florida where she went with her family. She has received certificates for her schoolwork and aims to attend college and become a nurse in the future.

All About Me LUZ MARTES
Birthplace I was born in St.Luke’s Hospital on June 20th,1998.I still go there to see my doctor.When ever I go there ,there’s other kids there.
My Community I live in Harlem New York. I meet some of my friends in the neighborhood sometimes.Also I run into my friends sometimes on the way to school and home.I like that there is people that are nice in my community.But I don’t like how they smoke sometimes.
My Family I live with my mother and my two brothers.I use to have a father but he pass away not to long ago.It can be crazy in my house sometimes.
Schools I have attended P.S 36 for three years.I now go to P.S 125.I still haven’t planned what school I’m going to next year.
Hobbies I like to sing.But I don’t think I’m any good at it.I like to read and write too.I mostly read The Boxcar Children books and writing about my day in my dairy.
My Favorite Place To Visit My favorite place to visit is Florida.It is really hot there.I went there with my mom and my brother.I want to go back there soon.
Achievements I got a certificates for many things such as getting my homework correct a lot of times.I’m working on getting more certificates.
Future Goals I want to become a nurse when I get older. I want to get into good schools.I want to get into a collge to
