To Whom It May Concern
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to recommend Maciej’s candidature for Vulcanus Program. I was Maciej’s professor of
Fine Element Analysis during his Erasmus Exchange in Portugal.
During the course he was attending he learnt how to use Abaqus program and designed static and
dynamic simulations. He also learnt about cork material what he used in his thesis when he came
back to Poland.
Maciek is a good and ambitious student who can complete tasks. He was always curious about the
process of designing and did not hesitate to ask many questions. You could see that during the
exchange he did not have any problems with making new friends from Portugal and other
countries. He is a type of a person who feels good abroad and is not afraid of new challenges.
I can assure you, he can perform as a Mechanical Engineer and will be a valuable asset in long term.
Your faithfully,
Ricardo Alves de Sousa, PhD
