Cunde Wang is a Chinese artist who graduated from the Central Academy of Arts and Design in 1969. He worked in textile and package design for 12 years before becoming a lecturer and head of the department of decoration at the Beijing Institute of Industrial Design. Mr. Wang is a member of the Beijing Society of Arts and has won numerous awards. He migrated to Australia in 1988 to advance his career as an artist and now teaches brush painting at various art workshops and galleries.

- 4. The paintings of Cunde Wang are utterly stimulating. A graduate of the Central Academy of Arts and Design in 1969, Mr Wang was engaged for 12 years in textile and package design. He joined the Beijing Institute of Industrial Design in 1982 as a lecturer and went on to become the Head of Department of Decoration. Mr. Wang is also a member of Beijing Society of Arts and winner of numerous awards and prizes. Mr. Wang migrated to Australia in 1988 to further advance his career as an artist. He teaches brush painting at Kingston Art Workshop, the Canberra Museum and Art Gallery
