Natalie regrets stealing money and items from her parents to fund her friend's birthday party after her father cut off her allowance. She pawned her parents' possessions and lied about having a paid internship. As she searched for more things to pawn, Sasha caught her stealing. Natalie realizes taking things that weren't hers was wrong and got her into trouble.

FADE IN: INT. ROOM (SCENE 1) Mid shot Natalie is sitting in front of computer webcam. She says "So I'm supposed to write an essay on something I've done that I terribly regret. So let's do it." Mid shot Natalie is taking out clothes from her cupboard. Long shot Clothes are shown being tossed onto a bean bag. Mid shot Natalie is taking out clothes and decides what to wear. Mid shot Natalie is fixing her hair. (Narration) "So this is me, Natalie. Most people call me Nats cos it sounds cool. Wide shot Natalie's dressing table is shown and she picks up her lip gloss. Mid shot Natalie is shown applying lip gloss and wearing her sunglasses (narration) " Anyways, this was the time when I was heading out to get a gigantic cake and a one of a kind present for my bff Sasha. Her birthday was at Stella's place and I was in charge of buying the cake and sending the invites and stuff. Mid shot Bag is shown and Natalie picks it up. (Narration) "I think almost the entire school was coming, which is why I had to get myself something awesome to wear too." Mid-close up Natalie walks to parent's room.
Mid shot Natalie opens her parent's cupboard. Close up Natalie is searching parent's wallet. Mid-close up Natalie closes cupboard, unzips her bag and takes her cell phone out. She starts talking to her dad "Hey dad, there's no money in the wallet." Close-up shot Natalie exclaims "What?!" SCENE 2 Wide shot (Panning and tilting movement) Natalie opens her room door, walks in and drops on her bean bag. Then she picks up a cushion next to her, puts it on her face and screams. Close-up shot Focus puller of dressing table shot. Close-up shot Natalie is lying on her bean bag and thinking. (Narration) "So guess what my dad just told me. He won't be giving me any money to spend anymore! He was like I'm a teen and I should be working and not spending so much." "I had this brilliant idea pop into my head all of a sudden. It wasn't a good idea but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do." Natalie gets off bean bag. Mid shot Natalie is shown walking towards her parents' bedroom. (Narration) The idea is something that I'm not proud of but to give you a clear yet brief explanation, the plan involved three things; stuff that wasn't mine, a pawn shop and a big lie." Wide shot Natalie is shown taking out stuff from the drawers.
Mid shot Natalie is checking out a box. Long shot A box is shown and Natalie takes stuff out from it. (Narration) "Apparently some of the stuff I found in my parent's bedroom was actually worth a lot." Close up Items shown on the dressing table. Close up Natalie is shown staring at money. SCENE 3 Mid shot Natalie is shown standing. (Narration) "So now all I had to do was explain the cover story I made up for the money I was making." Then she speaks out loud "Mom, I've started working at an internship. They basically give me articles to write and for each article I get a good pay. Your little girl is growing up." Mid shot Natalie's mom is shown working on her laptop. She says "Well that's great darling, good to see you doing some work. I'm proud of you." Mid shot Natalie shown in front of webcam again where she says "So now you can pretty much imagine what I did." Wide shot (Panning and tilting movement) A time lapse of Natalie is shown. She enters her room with two shopping bags. She sits and takes out stuff from the bag one by one. Then she gets up, tries on her new bag, looks in the mirror, wears her new shades, picks up her shopping bags again and jumps and leaves her room. FADE TO BLACK.
FADE IN: Wide shot Natalie is shown in her parent's room again, going through the drawers. Mid shot Natalie is shown going through the box. (Narration) Because of my greediness, I ran out of stuff to pawn very quickly..." Mid shot Natalie is check the bed side drawers. (Narration) "...there was nothing insignificant left in the house that I could take. The thought of taking something from room didn't feel right which is why I didn't even go there." Mid shot Natalie is shown thinking. She looks worried. Her phone beeps so she reaches for it. Close-up shot Natalie's phone is shown. Close-up shot Natalie is shown holding her phone. (Narration) "I decided it was time to take things up a notch..." Mid shot (Panning movement) Natalie is shown going through drawers in a different room. She takes stuff from inside it and puts it in her bag. (Narration) "...and that is what got me into trouble." In the same shot, Natalie's best friend Sasha is shown emerging from a door that is right in front of the camera. Mid shot Natalie is in front of the webcam, after a few seconds she closes it. FADE OUT.
