Keyboard shortcuts allow you to quickly perform common tasks in Mail such as composing messages, sending and receiving mail, searching, and formatting text. Some examples include Command-N to compose a new message, Command-Shift-N to get new mail, Command-R to reply to the sender of a message, and Command-T to show the Font panel for formatting text.

shortcuts for common commands, look to the right of each command in the menus (or
see the menu shortcuts below). To complete an action, press the shortcut keys indicated
