MAISON ET OBJET SEPTEMBER 2010
summary: The twice-annual event in
Paris is undoubtedly one of the most
important events for the home
interiors industry. Categories
ranging from tabletop, decorative
accessories, lighting and home
textiles were represented.
This edition showed an increased
emphasis on home furnishings with the
integration of Meuble into the show,
rather than running concurrently as
in years past.
The September edition also has a
special focus on outdoor living and
furnishings.
Overall the show had just a slight
increase in attendance over the
previous year. It was key to note
that there was an increase of 5.5% of
US visitors, showing domestic
optimism.
