The letter provided an overview of signs that trackers can observe such as tracks, burrows, nests, scat, and food remnants to identify animals. It also explained that mammals are part of the domain Eukarya, kingdom Animalia, phylum Chordata and class Mammalia. Mammals can be found in woodlands, grasslands, arid areas, wetlands, streams, lakes, oceans, tundra and mountains.
