This clinical article discusses the management of recurrent cerebral aneurysms after surgical clipping. The study retrospectively analyzed 14 patients who showed residual or recurrent aneurysms after initial clipping who then underwent microsurgical clipping or endovascular coiling. The most common causes of recurrence found were clip slippage in 5 cases and fragility of the vessel wall near the clip site in 1 case. The article discusses risk factors for recurrence and techniques for managing recurrent aneurysms, emphasizing the importance of complete occlusion during initial clipping to prevent recurrence over time.
