The Foundation works in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK
using football to change young lives for the better

5. The Francis House and Manchester United partnership
project funds the employment of a team of Home Care
nurses who provide an outreach care service for
children with terminal and life-limiting illnesses so
that the hospice can extend its fantastic service into
the community, touching many more peoples lives.
Manchester United and The Christie are uniting to beat
cancer. This incredible unit is one of just ten dedicated
teenage cancer units in the country and helps around
150 new patients every year. High quality diagnosis,
treatment and care for more than 3.2 million people
across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
In 2011, Manchester United launched a new programme
helping disadvantaged children in Senegal, where one
child in every eleven dies before their fifth birthday. The
project is equipping 35 child survival centres with
everything mums and babies need to ensure a child
survives their first five years by providing access to
essential materials, from Malaria nets to vaccines.The
Club has raised over 贈2.5 million for UNICEF programmes
which has benefited over 2.2 million children worldwide.
