Mango Languages at Penn State

Editor's Notes

  1. Started in 2007 by four guys in a living room based on a love of languages and creating a program that really worked and could be fun for learners. We have brown to a team of almost 50 people in our headquarters in Detroit Michigan. Including linguists, programmers, designers, marketers and more. IN addition we have over 150 developers and editors around the world who teach at prestigious international universities and many hold PhDs.
  2. Based on that love of languagesLanguage is who we are. Over 90% of Mango staff speaks at least one foreign language. Many speak 2,3,4, 5 and even 6. I know six languages at least enough to be polite and I can even cause a little bit of trouble in Spanish. Most of the Mango Elves come from ethnic backgrounds or have traveled abroad and understand how language can make or break your international experiences.
  3. Global Economywith the internet and social platforms like Facebook and Twitter borders are dropping every day. Last divide is language. Greater need than ever before.
  4. Mango is already used and loved by a wide variety of respected organizations, almost 90 million users have access to Mango in North Americaincluding,,,The U.S. AirforceThe U.S. Navy The U.S. Coast GuardU.S. Special OP forcesThe U.S. Department of Homeland SecurityThe U.S. Food and Drug AdministrationThe U.S. Department of AgricultureThe U.S. National Institute of HealthNew York Public LibraryCounty of Los Angeles Public LibraryNew York UniversityTexas TechHyandai/KiaMcDonaldsJust to name a few. What do all these language learnerslove about Mango?
