Compared to terrestrial biomass, marine algae have a major potential to become a renewable resource of raw material for biofuels and bioproducts. Through their diverse chemical composition, marine algae can be the source of bioproducts for many industries. For the implementation in practice of the marine algae capitalization, it is necessary to obtain supplementary information from scientific research and solving some technological aspects for obtaining bioproducts under efficient economic conditions.

3. Surse
Microalgae can be cultivated on large scale
contributing both to solve the problems of climate
change and global warming as well as global energy
and food security.
Macroalgae (seaweeds) that occupy the littoral zone
are a great source of compounds with diverse
applications (hydrocolloids: agar, alginate and
carrageenan, other non-jellifying polysaccharides and
oligosaccharides, pigments, proteins, amino acids and
phenolic compounds).
21. Concluzii
Algele marine reprezint materii prime regenerabile
accesibile prin cultivare sau recoltare din mediul
natural pentru a fi utilizabile pentru obinerea de
biocombustibili i bioproduse.
Algele marine sunt accesibile fr a intra 樽n
