- 2. WELCOME Marine Automation, LLC (’Mar-Auto') is a leading electrical engineering design and consultancy business providing services to the global marine and offshore markets. The company offers a range of services from third party compliance and assurance to delivery of large, high value turnkey engineering design packages covering electrical power systems, automation, real time control software, dynamic positioning systems, offshore installation equipment and communication systems. ‘Mar-Auto’ operates worldwide and its headquarters are based in Odessa, Ukraine. It provides leading ship owners, operators, and offshore oil and gas companies and contractors with efficient, high quality and cost effective services. ‘Mar-Auto’ was initially registered in 2001 and began to trade in its current format in 2002. It was conceived initially to meet the growing demand for specialist marine electrical engineering consultancy services but in recent years has developed a wide range of specialist technical support activities. Complementing ‘Mar-Auto’ operations, the company now has in-house electronic, electrical, instrument and software design capability and it has successfully completed a number of diverse high profile turnkey design, build and installation projects for major clients. It has also successfully delivered a number of highly complex upgrades and conversions of existing equipment and systems, often with novel and innovative solutions. The company employs professional engineers with wide ranging experience of the marine, offshore, process and petro-chemical industries. Consequently, ‘Mar-Auto’ can manage the complete design life cycle from initial concept to the final stages of installation, commissioning and client hand over.

MARINE AUTOMATION & CONTROL SYSTEMS Mar-Auto protects the value of your engines and fleets with reliable, high-quality electrical and electronic systems by offering turnkey vessel automation solutions utilizing Integrated Alarm Monitoring and Control Systems (IAMCS) and other types of marine electronics including low voltage /main switchboards, fire detection and CCTV to support vessels & offshore equipment build, retrofit, conversion and vessel new building projects Auxiliary Machinery Control Adding control capability is simple! Standard ‘bolt on’ packages are available for Pump, Fan and Valve Control. We offer a wide array of services including repair of rotating machinery and pumps, electric motor and generators, diesel engines, governors and controls, hydraulics, welding and valve repair. - 8. Engineering Consultancy Our passion for engineering has led us into a wide range of engaging projects, often requiring novel and innovative solutions. However, to minimize project execution risks we strive wherever possible to transfer knowledge, lessons learned and introduce standard, field proven solutions to projects. Our clients include oil companies, offshore contractors, ship owners, shipyards and trade organizations, as well as other stakeholders in the DP sector. We work to international, national, class, International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) and Marine Technology Society (MTS) standards and guidance, as well as equipment-specific regulations– such as those for crane equipment–and our own technical guidance notes.

Marine operations and surveys Our independent teams of master mariners and specialist engineers lead the field in project approvals for all aspects of temporary phase marine operations, from the construction yard to installation and hook-up. We specialize in the site specific approval of mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs), including jack-ups, semi-submersibles, tender barges and drill ships.
