Ensure that inventory is properly replenished to the appropriate dispensing areas within the pharmacy. Receive and stock product Check returned products for expiration dates. Ensure products are disposed of according to expiration dates and required handling procedures.
- 2. Maintain Purchase Order log and review and approve invoices for payment and provide reports for and track all Credits (wholesaler and other) and inventory transfers, as required. Maintain NDC billing file, as required. Process returns, determining credit eligibility and manage restocking of inventory Identifying opportunities for new product lines and cost saving plans across existing product lines, as required. Manages appropriate Purchasing and Receiving staff. Pharmacy supervisor: Working in conjunction with the Pharmacy Manager to organizes, directs and controls activities of the Pharmacy Department Manage team hours, performance, reviews, etc. Monitor the Pharmacist, Pharmacy techs and Shipping/Receiving Clerks workload and department coverage Works in conjunction with Pharmacy Manager to establish protocols for Pharmacy Department in relation to how prescriptions are processed to meet industry standards, regulatory standards and insurance related requirements (i.e. product selection, Days Supply for multi-dose products, controlled substance prescribing, prescription transfers, etc.) Resolves inquiries, complaints or concerns regarding intake activities or interactions with other operational departments Create clearly defined expectations, procedures, goals and incentives for each individual within the department Helps monitor department operations, quality indicators and service levels based on standards/policies Cross train all team members on key business needs within pharmacy and shipping departments.

Provide regular feedback of actual results for team members Develop and implement training procedures and documentation for new hires and existing personnel Performing the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy Pharmacist activities such as transferring prescriptions, handles incoming physician calls, logging data into the computer, and conducting drug utilization review. Operates as a resolution specialist for all unusual issues with the Pharmacy Department. Pharmacist in-charge: Dispenses prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals to customers by performing the following duties. Directs pharmacy workers engaged in dispensing pharmaceuticals. addressing queries and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals.
