What is this about? ? It is a project where you create your own game. ? Design the board game by using concepts of profit, losses, budgeting and percentage. ? There will only be 4 players in the game. ? You will have to base the game on the theme that you chose.
Who’s in my group? ? There is a total of 5 members per group. ? Leader ? To ensure that the group is on task. ? Theme Designer ? Design the layout of the game. ? Games Designer 1, 2 and 3 ? Craft questions for the game.
What are the themes? ? Starting a business ? Amazing Race ? Super Sweet 16 Party ? Use the power of Google to answer your question ? Game of Life ? Your game can either be ‘around the board’ or ‘one- directional’. The player that makes the most money eventually wins.
Things to note: ? Designers must be realistic when designing the amount of money used in the game. ? There must be a use of percentages in the design of the questions. ? Refer to the sample in the portfolio. The portfolio is with your group leader.
Your current task: ? Ask around who your group leader is. ? Group leaders: Your task is to brief them on your game design. ? For my group: ? Games Designer 1 is Darius, ? 2 is Leon, ? 3 is Chi Chian, ? ‘No-task’ is Derek.
