WELCOME
Hi	and	welcome	to	the	Matt	Hall	Racing	Team	Guide	for	the	2016	Red	Bull	Air	Race	World	Championship!
For	the	fifth	time	I	am	taking	on	the	planets	best	pilots	in	the	worlds	fastest	motorsport	series	and	again	we	are	racing	in	some	of
the	most	amazing	cities	across	the	globe.and	I	cant	wait.
Who	wouldnt	want	to	compete	at	the	highest	level	their	field	offers	- in	cool	cities	like	Abu	Dhabi,	Spielberg,	Chiba,	Budapest,
Ascot,	Lausitzring,	Indianapolis	and	Las	Vegas.......how	awesome.
Last	year	was	a	massive	year	for	our	team	in	the	Red	Bull	Air	Race,	finishing	on	the	podium	in	seven	out	of	eight	races	and
breaking	through	for	not	only	our	first	win,	but	a	second,	too.	Those	days	in	Spielberg	and	Las	Vegas	will	never	be	forgotten.
We	achieved	our	success	through	a	lot	of	planning	and	preparation	and	complimented	those	items	with	a	determination	as	a
team	to	focus	on	the	present	and	nothing	more	than	our	next	flight,	or	even,	next	gate!	We	have	the	same	team	of	four	guys
our	technician	and	ferry	pilot	Eric	Cieslar,	tactician	Peter	Wezenbeek,	team	manager	Dave	Lyall	and	myself for	the	third	year	in	a
row	and	in	2016	we	will	be	employing	a	similar	mindset	to	the	one	that	worked	in	2015.
This	year	we	hope	to	continue	building	last	years	momentum	and	we	are	very	excited	to	be	doing	it	with	a	new	major	partner
Simply	Cola.	Together,	we	hope	that	we	can	put	together	a	season	that	will	see	us	in	contention	for	the	world	title	come	that final
race	in	Las	Vegas	in	October.
That	goal	is	a	challenge	I	welcome	and	can	only	be	achieved	if	we	tick	all	the	little	boxes	each	and	every	day	between	now	and
then.
Bring	on	2016,	thanks	for	the	support	and	I	look	forward	to	catching	up	during	the	year.
