 Aeros Season Makes a Landing In Oklahoma City
The Houston Aeros proved to be a contenting team in the AHL play-offs again this
year. However, Aeros xere eliminaued in uhe AHLs Wesuern Conference Qvaruerfinals
Tuesday, April 24th with a 5-2 loss against the Oklahoma City Barons. The Barons
eliminated the Aeros from the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs three-games-to-one with the
win. The Aeros were seeded 8th in the Western Conference when they visited the
Oklahoma City Barons, who were seeded 1st in the Western Conference, for Game 4
of uhe AHLs Wesuern Conference Qvaruerfinals on Tvesdaz au Coy Conwenuion Cenuer.

The game was much anticipated, since five of the eight meetings during the season
were decided by one goal.
                                                     Naue Prosser and Kris Fovcavlu scored Hovsuons onlz toals dvrint uhe fovruh tame of uhe
                                                     series and goaltender Mike Brodeiur made 22 sawes. Hoxewer, uhe Barons Yann Danis
                                                     suopped 19 of Hovsuons shous uo seal uhe series.

                                                    The Aeros ended their regular season with a record of 35-25-5 and plan on having
                                                    another strong Calder Cup contending team next year. When interviewed, Houston
                                                    Aeros General Manater Jim Mill reflecued, Owerall I uhink xiuh uhe amovnu of chante in
                                                    the roster on a daily basis, we achieved some pretty good things. Guys got to play a lot
                                                    of minutes. Guys got to face a lot of different diversity and they were challenged. And
                                                    xe responded reallz xell uo uhe challente.
