- 1. Issue 5 Volume 5 May 2012 Aeros Season Makes a Landing In Oklahoma City The Houston Aeros proved to be a contenting team in the AHL play-offs again this year. However, Aeros xere eliminaued in uhe AHLs Wesuern Conference Qvaruerfinals Tuesday, April 24th with a 5-2 loss against the Oklahoma City Barons. The Barons eliminated the Aeros from the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs three-games-to-one with the win. The Aeros were seeded 8th in the Western Conference when they visited the Oklahoma City Barons, who were seeded 1st in the Western Conference, for Game 4 of uhe AHLs Wesuern Conference Qvaruerfinals on Tvesdaz au Coy Conwenuion Cenuer. The game was much anticipated, since five of the eight meetings during the season were decided by one goal. Naue Prosser and Kris Fovcavlu scored Hovsuons onlz toals dvrint uhe fovruh tame of uhe series and goaltender Mike Brodeiur made 22 sawes.
