Our league focus is development of player’s softball skills and the opportunity to play the best competitive opponents in Arizona. All our coaches are required to pass a coaching evaluation on player development and First Aid. This allows our league to provide the best quality coaching and player safety. Our league will have an opportunity to participate in tournament play at a District, State, Regional and National level. In order to participate in our District tournament our players must have full completed registration before June 1, 2011. Any player not properly registered with the league before set date that player will be ineligible for participation in regular and post season play. Open Registration for players will end May 7th and for teams May 14th, 2011 end of business day. Our league will hold try outs for player’s not affiliated with any other registered team. Players not affiliated to registered teams will have player evaluations the 2 nd week of May at TBD time and location.
- 2. Registration Submittal Requirements: 1. Copy of proof of birth required must be attached to this registration form 2. Age Cut off: 12U: Any player born prior to May 1, 2001 and on or after May 1, 1999 will be eligible for Cal Ripken Baseball League competition. 14U: Any player born prior to May 1, 1999 and on or after May 1, 1997 will be eligible for Babe Ruth League competition. 16U: Any player born prior to May 1, 1998 and on or after May 1, 1995 will be eligible for Babe Ruth League competition. 3. If player has any medical condition a doctor’s consent form will be required. 1. Parents / Guardians are to complete and sign the registration / consent for treatment form. 2. Copy of proof of birth is required. The league will keep this copy. Do not bring original. 3. Registration Fee: $150.00 will be due by May 7th. Checks payable to Maricopa Babe Ruth League. Cash is acceptable. 4. There are no scholarships for our inaugural season due to limited amount of sponsors. 5. If the league receives notice of a check with insufficient funds, the individual will be notified by the league via email and will have 48 hours to submit payment that will include the registration fee, plus $25 return check fee and any bank related fees charged to the league. New payment must be in form of Cash, Certified Check or Money Order. No personal checks will be accepted as part of the re payment penalty.
