Federal Reserve Bank of Boston BOSTON, MA 2012 (6 month contract) and in 2009 - 2010 (1+ year contract)
Senior Art Director. Reported to the Design Director of the Corporate Affairs and Communications Group of
the Federal Reserve. Involved in all aspects of projects including; client meetings, working with writers/editors,
conceptualizing, art direction, design, branding and logo development for economic conferences, presentations,
exhibits, collateral materials and web banners. Involved in acquiring estimates for photography, stock or
illustration, providing estimates for the printing of publications, taking photographs, reviewing press proofs, and
overseeing the design intern.
Hired to design 8 Regional brochures about the New England Labor Market
Design & branding for several Federal Reserve Economic Conferences that involved: posters, programs,
agendas, save-the-date post cards, invites, and web banners. Note: One of the conferences in 2009
featured Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Board of Governors of The Federal Reserve System. The topic
was After the Fall: Re-evaluating, Supervisory, Regulatory and Monetary Policy.
Art direction & redesign: the Feds popular 1960s brochure (64 pages) titled Historical Beginnings of the
Federal Reserve. The 2010 piece will be featured at the Feds 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2014.
Created the brand/look for the Federal Reserves 2012 Corporate Vision. This included the design of their
corporate vision brochure, and presentation graphics.
Art direction & design: collateral materials, e-mail invites, web banners for the Feds annual exhibit,
Black Entrepreneurs of the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century.
Art direction & design: quarterly issues of the Feds 32-page magazine, Communities & Banking.

Senior Art Director. Reported to the Design Director of a large mutual fund family in their marketing/communications
group. Involved in all aspects of projects, including client kick-off meetings, working with AEs, coordination with
writers in concept development, branding, art direction and design of collateral materials, and economic conference
presentations. Involved in the selection and art direction of photography, stock or illustration, review press proofs
and press checks, and oversee junior designers when needed.
Art direction & design: collateral & overall conference look for the Annual MFS Institutional Investment Forum.
Design & branding: MFS Institutional Division. Challenged to create a theme line treatment of Global
Capabilities Local Solutions, and to develop a new global icon respecting the MFS main brand.
