Solution Overview: High Level Solution Description MedeFile is a comprehensive Personal Health Record service that collects, digitizes, organizes and stores all of its members ACTUAL medical records. 油 User can access their complete medical history 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from virtually anywhere in the world. 油 This information can be accessed via the web, mobile device and/or a proprietary USB drive we call the MedeDrive. MedeFile can update patient records from Allscripts at various intervals so the members are receiving the most up to date information possible.油

MedeFile may collect records from doctors outside of Allscripts either electronically or in paper format as well.油 油 We continue to poll these doctors automatically, at least every three months or sooner if the member requests us to do so. Our system also provides for the storage of Advanced Directives (Living Wills, DNR's, Health Care Proxies, etc.) 油 Included in an account is our MedeMinder. 油This helps establish reminders in the Healthcare Calendar, medication reminders and upcoming doctor appointments. MedeFile truly provides service as opposed to just technology. 油Virtually all other PHRs on the market today require the individuals to be responsible for gathering their own medical records and organizing them appropriately. 油Also provided is a 24/365 Emergency Call Service designed to reach out to loved ones in the event of an emergency.
- 4. Healthcare/Business problem adressed MedeFile collects and maintains actual medical records for each member from all of their chosen providers in a private, encrypted electronic account. MedeFile allows the patient and doctor to have a complete set of medical records across all of a patients medical professionals and facilities. This ensures immediate informational access for all members of a patients care team whenever and wherever needed. This provides for better communication, patient involvement and empowerment and overall better health. 油 Simply put, MedeFile puts all the pieces of the medical record puzzle together. By enabling all treating physicians to rapidly understand the patients entire medical situation, diagnostic and treatment plans are expedited and the odds of errors are greatly diminished. Usability and Design We believe that in the years to come, personal responsibility will be at the forefront in the US healthcare market. 油MedeFile will prove to help both the Patients and the Doctors. 油 MedeFile will help save individuals from paying for unnecessary and duplicate tests. Therefore reducing the amount of money individuals spend every year on their healthcare. 油MedeFile will be able to help doctors by providing them pertinent medical records that currently dont often exist at their practices. We believe that this constant information for both entities will lower the amount of medical errors and 鍖ll the communication gap that may exist between parties. An individual armed with all of his/her medical records is able to see potential errors that can a鍖ect both their future health visits as well as substantial 鍖nancial implications with regard to applying for various types of insurances. Brief of application: This application will be used for patients who visit facilities employing the use of the Allscripts unity and enterprise solutions. It will be used in pulling patient's below medical details with help of di鍖erent Unity services: - Allergy - Surgery - Medication - Medical condition - Immunization - Family history - Shared medical documents This application will generate di鍖erent .csv 鍖les and medical documents with pulled medical information. These generated 鍖les will be sent to MedeFile parser to parse these data and place it into respective member's account. APIs/Web Services calls used. - 7. Go to Market Plans How will the solution be brought to market? MedeFile is already a fully developed service. 油We currently market to patients through physicians practices as well as corporations, groups, self-insured entities that are looking to provide value added bene鍖ts to their employees/members. Which Allscripts customer segments will be targeted? We believe MedeFile can work seamlessly to all segments that Allscripts currently services. What is the proposed price point for the solution? Because MedeFile can produce a signi鍖cant revenue stream to both the Physician and Allscripts, we propose a cost of $15 per member, per month that the patient will be responsible for paying.
