The author researched different media institutions like IPC Media and Future to publish their rock-style music magazine, but ultimately chose Bauer Media. Bauer is a UK-based group consisting of magazine and radio companies, specializing in music. It was selected because it publishes Kerrang!, which inspired the author's magazine, and is widely recognized so the author believes it will be a good fit.

- 2. When choosing an appropriate institution for my magazine, I researched different types of medial institutions that cover music magazines, such as IPC Media and Future. However, I finally chose Bauer. Bauer Media is a UK-based media Group consisting of many companies focusing on two types of media - Magazines and Radio. I chose this music institution as it specializes in radio (therefore music) and magazines. Also, it is the same company that publishes Kerrang!, the main inspiration for my own magazine. The company is widely recognized and praised, so I have faith in the institution that it will be the correct one for my rock styled magazine.
