The SADC Youth Forum announces a volunteering partnership with the Joshua Foundation for their upcoming 2010 forum in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Joshua Foundation will spearhead engaging youth volunteers to be at the center of the SADC Youth Forum 2010. The partnership supports the forum's theme of "Youth Empowerment: Striving for Responsibility and Sustainability." The SADC Youth Forum brings together youth organizations from across Southern Africa to advocate for sustainable youth development strategies, while the Joshua Foundation is a Zimbabwean youth organization dedicated to volunteering activities for orphans and impoverished children.

The first official forum of its kind will be held in Harare, Zimbabwe at the Meikles Hotel on the 16th December under the theme, ‘Youth Empowerment: Striving for Responsibility and Sustainability’. The partnership sees the Joshua Foundation, a youth organization dedicated to volunteering activities in Harare, Zimbabwe committees to spearhead the engagement of youths to be at the center of the SADC Youth Forum 2010 as volunteers.
