A close-up is a shot of a character’s face and shoulders, they take up the majority of the screenClose up

Low angleA low angle shot is a shot  where the camera is at an upwards angle to give the sense of a first person view looking at something much more present and dominant then the character or could be used to add dramatic effect
Medium shotA medium shot is a balanced mixture of the background and the character
Long shotA long shot gives you a much more panoramic view of the background but the main object of interest is still present
