Case Scenario
Mr. X, is Giving anesthesia care in ICU for a patient admitted by car
accident. The Driver who made the accident , requests to kill the
patient by giving an unnecessary anesthesia care fearing life time care .
Despite the potential financial gain, Mr. X. declines the request,
explaining that it would be unethical and a violation of his professional
obligations to the patient's health and well-being.
Based On the scenario:
What is your response if you are requested to kill patients by financial
gain?
What if the driver is your relative and the patient is not? Who you care
first?

Johns Hopkins University, Oregon Health and Science
University) have codified institutional policies on dress
codes, body art and tattoos, body odor and use of
fragrance, and even nail care as Professional Appearance
Standards for clinical healthcare providers.
Some healthcare providers contend that rigid policies such
as dress codes infringe on their basic human rights of

that aim to enhance welfare of another person in absence
of any rewards.
It may also refer to an ethical doctrine that claims that
individuals are morally obliged to benefit others.
Usually contrasted with egoism, which claims
individuals are morally obligated to serve themselves
first.
Effective altruism is use of evidence & reason to
determine most effective ways to benefit others.
