Luc Betbeder provides a status update on the Medicine Web Refresh 2011 project. The goals of the project were to refresh key Medicine websites, spotlight people and projects using content from the Research Gateway, separate content from design, use a modular framework, and embrace social media. The methodology involved reviewing other websites, selecting Drupal as the CMS, prototyping using Research Gateway data, and engaging a design firm. Results included piloting the new NDARC site template and planning rollouts of other sites by end of year.
