The document discusses Makewaves, a social media platform for schools that allows students to connect, share achievements through badges, and build a safe online profile. It describes how one school used Makewaves to help address a head lice problem by having students create an informative video and interviews. Makewaves integrates digital badges that recognize students for competitions, tasks, and levels that can be shared across platforms.
