Megan Stade is a sophomore music business major at SUNY Fredonia who aspires to be a talent manager. She has played clarinet since age 9 and guitar since 11. Stade visited UAlbany for their homecoming football game since Fredonia does not have a football team. UAlbany was losing 34-10 in the third quarter and many students left early as the team did not appear likely to make a comeback. This was Stade's first college homecoming football game experience. Stade also enjoys visiting other universities such as SUNY Buffalo and plans to visit SUNY Oneonta soon.

The document describes the steps taken to create a horror movie poster in Photoshop. First, the author imported a photo of a knife from a movie and resized it. Then they used transformation tools to straighten the image. Next, they removed the background by selecting it with the Quick Selection tool and deleting it. Some manual erasing was needed to remove all of the background. Then faces from the movie were added onto the knife blade using layers and blending options. Text was added with a red to black gradient overlay. Clouds were filtered in to create a fog effect in the background.

This article aims to present the causes of the war between Russia and Ukraine and how to build a lasting peace between the two countries and in the world. There are three causes of the war between Russia and Ukraine: 1) The United States' military strategy of approaching Russia's borders by incorporating the former socialist Eastern European countries that are Russia's neighbors into NATO; 2) The interest of the United States' arms industry in expanding NATO to expand its arms sales to its member countries; and, 3) The Ukrainian government's pursuit of its distance from Russia's sphere of economic and political influence and its desire to integrate into the European Union and NATO. The construction of a lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine could begin with Russia accepting a ceasefire in Ukraine on the condition that the United States and NATO stop providing military support to Ukraine in its confrontation with Russia. A lasting peace could be built if Russia ends its hostilities in Ukraine, liberates the occupied areas of that country and assumes the burden of rebuilding what was destroyed by the war, on condition that the United States and NATO withdraw from the Eastern European countries and Finland and undertake to lift the economic and financial sanctions imposed against Russia. The construction of lasting peace in the world requires the existence of a world government and a world parliament democratically elected by the world's population, as well as the existence of a world Supreme Court, which are the conditions for the effective application of international law and its respect by all countries. It is urgent for humanity to equip itself as soon as possible with the necessary instruments for the construction of a peaceful world.More Related Content

The European Commission has published a list of U.S. products that could be subject to retaliatory tariffs after the Donald Trump administration on Wednesday imposed 25 percent global tariffs on steel and aluminum.
The 99-page list is dominated by meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables and alcoholic beverages ¡ª and includes chewing gum, communion wafers, nicotine vapes and patches, and ... women¡¯s n¨¦glig¨¦es.
Other items read like an attack on the American way of life ¡ª including outdoor wear, tents, workshop tools and household appliances. And then there are heavy-duty items like plant machinery, snowplows and motorcycles.

- 1. PROFILE Megan Stade Student, musician, on a visit to UAlbany M egan Stade is a sophomore at SUNY Fredonia, where she is majoring in Music Business. Stade is originally from Sound Beach, N.Y. a small town located on Long Island. Stade aspires to be a talent manager for music artists. She¡¯s currently a roadie for the band ¡°Zebra.¡± Stade has been playing clarinet since she was 9 and learned how to play guitar when she was 11. Many UAlbany students left the game early because the team did not show any signs of making a comeback. UAl- bany¡¯s game was the first college, homecoming football game that Stade had ever ex- perienced. Unfortunately, the Great Danes did not put on a good show for their visitor. t Stade enjoys visiting her friends at their Universi- ties. Besides Albany, she has also been to the University at Buffalo. She plans to visit SUNY Oneonta soon. Stade was surprised when work- ers allowed her into State Dining Hall with her friend, Jacob Lindenauer¡¯s SUNY ID card. If caught with another person¡¯s ID, the card would be confiscated. A replacement would cost $20.
