Melody Amina Edwards is an English language professional with over 12 years of experience teaching ESL/EFL in 7 different countries. She has a BA in Social Policy from the University of Kent in the UK and a TESOL diploma from Canada. Currently she works as an English language professional and teacher mentor for the Malaysian government, training teachers and overseeing rural primary schools. I am currently employed as an E.L.P. (Education Language Professional) and a Teachers Mentor. Training Malaysian Teacher Participants for their ESOL Course, to enable them to gain the necessary University credits. I also assist these Teachers in their 5 rural, Malaysian Primary Schools. Where I oversee their English Curriculum, advise them on teaching aids, resources and give them professional guidance in teaching methodologies, in keeping with the KSSR Curriculum of the

I have taught Business English for Berlitz in Istanbul, Turkey and lectured for Universities in Saudi Arabia too. I graduated for my TESOL Teaching Diploma in Canada because (some of my family have settled there and are residents of Montreal) after, firstly graduating with a BA Hons from my country, the UK. My Degree is in Social Policy, which is the study of Political Movement and policies within governments on both a local and international basis. In short I have an expansive experience in the fields of business and education. I am a British Muslim woman, currently working in Malaysia. Having taught in K.S.A for one year, at 2 prestigious womens Universities and more recently, narrowly escaping the political uprising that just occurred in Cairo, Egypt. Where I briefly returned to access IT English adult students, entering a scholarship there. I was born in Lewisham, London. UK. Physical and mental fitness are top priorities for me and some of my favourite hobbies include, swimming which I do on a regular basis. Also horse riding, gymnastics and aerobics to maintain a good level of health I enjoy study and am currently undertaking a Master's Degree in Project Management in which my grades are A+ and I am expecting to graduate again at the end of 2013. I take a keen interest in world politics and human rights policy.
