Overview
Todays letter delivery is fast, efficient, and cheap. Unfortunately, its mundane,
boring, and lacks the flair thats needed for special occasions. We are introducing a
messenger pigeon delivery service to provide an alternative to those that want
their messages to truly stand out.
We are providing our customers a memorable way send letters and other small
items (like roses) to their family, friends, loved ones, to celebrate special moments
     in their lives.
Other companies have not addressed this need previously due to the physical
limitations of messenger pigeons but we believe our business model effectively
     navigates through past limitations.
We are entering this space because we see a need for novelty delivery services.
Customers are looking to make occasions like wedding, birthdays, valentines day,
graduations more memorable. Our unique service helps our customers meet those
     needs.

Market Size
It is hard to estimate market size for novelty delivery services but we can
determine potential market numbers from these statistics:
Hand delivered love letters in 2011 9 million
Roses delivered in Feb 2011 170 million

While the numbers above dont provide direct insight into demand for our
services, we can extrapolate that if our customers wanted to deliver single stem
roses or love letters via a unique service like messenger pigeons, we could see
demand of a few thousand (conservative) just over a single month (Feb) period.

Our Service
Our service begins with our customers going to our website, selecting items they
want for delivery (small, single items that pigeons can carry like single roses or
letters etc.), selecting a delivery destination and time.
Since messenger pigeons are trained to only carry messages back and forth from
pre-trained locations, we will provide our customers delivery locations to choose
from (major parks, beaches, historical spots in city).
We ask that our customers and their delivery recipients be in the delivery location
area during the requested delivery time.
Our pigeon will deliver the item or message to the location at the requested time.
A pigeon handler (our employee) working the delivery location can assist the
customer with the message. The pigeon return to the main location after delivery
and prepare for the next delivery to the location.
We will have different pigeons that will be trained to deliver to different pre-
     defined locations.

Revenue Model
Our revenue model is 2 part -
We will charge for the actual delivery service. Delivery charges will be based on
where the delivery location is. Delivery charges will be between $25 and $50 per
delivery depending on the delivery location.
We will also charge for any items that the customer may purchase for delivery
from our website. For ex. if the customer purchases a rose for delivery, we will
     charge for that rose.

Go to Market
We plan to reach our customers via web and TV viral marketing.
We also plan to bundle our delivery services with existing companies like
1800FLOWERS to deliver their miniature items.
We will need to partner with pigeon breeders and trainers to help build out a
    successful delivery fleet.
We plan to open our delivery services in one major city first with a few delivery
destinations. Roll out of our services depends on market feedback.

Competition
There is no competition in the messenger pigeon delivery services space.
There are competitors that offers hand delivery services but our service provides
a unique alternative that is unmatched currently.
