Research is analogous to the wind in several ways. Like the wind, research surrounds us and we collaborate with it to learn and discover new things. Research occurs both in scientific and artistic fields, as well as in everyday activities like reading books or using Google. Effective research involves gathering reliable data through a process to discover and prove new understandings, just as wind can travel to many places. Both research and wind are essential to life and learning.
