- 1. METO KOLEJI HATAY Summer Camp 2014
- 2. Hello, my name is Barry and I taught Summer Camp at Meto Koleji, Hatay, Turkey. Let me tell you about it.
- 3. Meto Koleji is in Kirikhan, near Hatay in southern Turkey.
- 4. It has a garden, basketball court, and football pitch. It is sunny and the air is fresh.
- 5. Here are my co-teachers, Ramazan and Veli.
- 6. Here I am with some of the staff.
- 7. In the younger class we made pirate hats
- 8. and a Hello Kitty hat
- 9. Pirates eat ice-cream too!!!
- 10. In the older class we had to put the body labels on the body
- 11. We made a skeleton collage.
- 12. Draw bones, cut out bones, stick bones
- 13. make sure the bones fit well onto the paper
- 14. The boys stick their bones onto the paper.
- 15. Game over!!!
- 16. Game over!!!
- 17. Who made the better picture, the boys or the girls?
- 18. Next we had an Egyptian Mummy Competition.
- 19. The girls made a good mummy
- 20. and so did the boys.
- 21. The girls finished first and made a spooky mummy.
- 22. The boys mummy was very interesting!
- 23. We love food! Especially the barbecue. Here is the Vice Principal enjoying a kebeb sandwich!
- 25. Dont forget to try some cake
- 26. Hey, dont eat all the cake!!!
- 27. Yummy Yummy
- 28. and try some Turkish kunefe (pudding) or a chicken saute with vegetables and bread.
- 29. A tasty Turkish breakfast is waiting!

- 33. We wrote comic strips, too.
- 34. One afternoon we went shopping and bowling in Prime Mall, Hatay.
- 35. On the bus
- 36. Happy days in the sun!
- 37. We make a good team!
- 39. Here is our town, Kirikhan. It is about 30km from Hatay.
- 40. Here is Hatay!
- 41. The Archeaological Museum in Hatay.
- 42. Hatay has many old, historic buildings.
- 43. Its the turn of the younger class to label the parts of the body!
- 44. Did we label the body correctly?
- 45. Hey! Do you like our skeleton? What do you say?
- 46. And the younger class made a nice mummy!
- 47. What do you think?
- 49. AND we all got our CERTIFICATES! Youre number one! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
