This document discusses ways for librarians to foster community through networking with library groups and organizations, even those off the mainstream radar. It suggests getting to know and working within a community you identify with, and creating one if none exists that fits. Specific groups mentioned include a Hunger, Homelessness & Poverty Task Force and finding mentors to learn from their work and publishing.
