The tourist, an American, tries to convince a Mexican fisherman to expand his small fishing business. He suggests the fisherman spend more time fishing to catch larger hauls and buy bigger boats to build a fleet. The tourist says this could eventually lead to opening his own cannery and moving to larger cities to run his growing enterprise. However, the fisherman is content with his simple life and does not want to wait 15-20 years for the tourist's plan to unfold.
