Introduction to Mexico
Mexico is the country between the U.S. and the
Central America which is known for its Pacific, Gulf of
Mexico beaches and its diverse landscape of
mountains, deserts and jungles.
Mexico achieve their independence in 1821 through
various several constitutions.
To know about these constitution in details. We will
discuss the history of Mexico:-
Politics of Mexico
The Politics of Mexico starts from the framework of
federal representative democratic republic whose
government is based on a congressional system, and
the president of Mexico is head of state, head of
Government and a multi party system. The Federal
represents is divided into three branches which is
established by the Political Constitution of the United
Mexican states.
 Executive power
 Legislative
 judicial
Political Parties
Political parties are an organized group of people with
at least similar roughly similar political aims and
opinions that seeks public policy by getting candidate
elected to public office. These parties in Mexico
promote the participation of people in the democratic,
contribution in the representation and citizen through
which they can participate in the public office. These
are the parties which is registered before the National
Electoral Institute.

 National Action Party
 Party of the Democratic Revolution
 Labor Party
 Green Ecological Party
 Convergence Party
 New Alliance
 National Regeneration Movement
Famous Leaders
We will share one of the two famous leaders of Mexico
Politics. These are:-
Rafael Moreno Valle is presently a Mexican Politician
and also was the Governor of Puebla from February
2011 to January 2017.
Agustin De Iturbide was the first leader of Mexico,
in 1821 when the country became independent and
play a important role in Mexico. He also was a
Mexican army general and politician.
Elections and Political Composition
of the Institutions
The identity document in Mexico is provided to the
people as the voting card through which all citizen are
automatically registered for all elections. Elections are
usually held on the first Sunday of July. Presidential
and legislative elections are scheduled every six years
for the Senate
Federal Elections
The most federal elections were held on July 2, 2006
with the full renovation of both chambers of the
Congress of the Union.
The presidential elections were the most most
competitive in the history of the country.. In this the
difference in the ballot count between the winner and
the first runner up was less than one percent point.
The congressional elections are not contested by any
party. All deputies and senators took office on
September 1.
State Elections
The state elections are done at different times ,
depending on the state, these are not held at the same
time like federal elections.
For example:-
PRI governs 14 states: Campeche, Coahuila, Colima,
Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Mexico, Nayarit, San Luis
Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tlaxcala, Yucatán and
Zacatecas.
Historical Political Development
In 1929, the Mexican Revolution was followed by the
Great Depresion, which create most several
fragmented society and very weak institutions. Now all
the faction and general of the Mexican revolution were
united into a single party, the National Revolutionary
Party. The main of this is to stabilize the country and
ending internal conflicts. The social institution
created by the party own is provided the necessary
strength to stay in power.
