Editor's Notes
There isn’t really a right or wrong way to talk or rank the management process in my opinion. I know the text starts with planning but to me it starts with the leader to initiate the planning process. I also think that controlling and organizing could be switched back and forth based on the person and task that they are planning for. Sometimes, if I know what results I am looking for and know what snags I will most like run into, I would move controlling over organizing. Overall though, how I have them above is how I try to lead. Actually, leading isn’t just a one time step in the process. It is intermingled throughout the other 3 steps at all times.
