MH370 was a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing that disappeared on March 8, 2014 with 239 people on board. The last contact with the aircraft was in the Gulf of Thailand when it lost communication and radar signals. Despite extensive search efforts, no wreckage was found for over a year. In March 2015, a piece of debris was discovered on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. There are several theories for what happened to the plane, including that it was hijacked by terrorists, shot down accidentally, crashed due to pilot suicide, or diverted for other undisclosed reasons. However, the cause of the aircraft's disappearance remains a mystery.

Topic: MH370 Malaysian Aircraft
MH370 is the Boeing 777-200ER, registration number 9M-MRO, was delivered to Malaysia
Airlines on May 31, 2002. The aircraft was equipped with two Rolls-Royce Trent engine 892.
According to the airline, it worked 20.243 hours and 3.023 flight times. Malaysia Airlines Flight
370 (MH370) was a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Airlines to Beijing. It departed
from Kuala Lumpur at 0am 41 MST (UTC + 8) on March 8th
, 2014 by a Boeing 777-200ER,
which is expected to Beijing at 6:30 the same day. There were 239 passengers, including two
babies, with 12 crew members. However, less than an hour later, in the Gulf of Thailand, the
aircraft lost communication and radar signals. The last time Malaysian military radar saw
MH370 at 1:30, it was on the Andaman Sea, northwest of the country, just a few minutes before
flying through air traffic control station of Vietnam. Many of the rescue teams of a lot of
countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia, France, etc are established for residues of
MH370 but did not have any results. On March 24th
, based on analysis of Inmarsat satellite
signals, the Malaysian government has declared MH370 reverse journey, flew over the southern
Indian Ocean and ended in the Western city of Perth, Australia. No one on the board survived.
Aircraft’s mysterious disappearance aroused many different assumptions about its destiny. There
were 5 rumors that were given to explain MH370’s disapperance, include terrorism, it was shot,
the captain suicide, fire and the involvement of corporations Freescale

Many people belive that MH370 was attacked by a group of terrorists, this was similar to the
terrorism in September 9th
. According to Telegraph, there were two pilots whose were restrained
and this airplane was used as a huge bomb. If the consumptions was right, MH370 would
crashed into Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, one of the highest building in the world in
1998-2004. This belief was consolidated after Malaysian Prime Minister- Najib Razak had
confirmed the communication system of MH370 was turned off consciously. According to
Professor Anthony Glees, director of the Center for Intelligence Research and Security at the
University of Buckingham, England, this hypothesis may explain why the Malaysian authorities
have yet announced the truth relating to the missing plane . He said "I believe this is a hijacking
as soon as the plane was diverted". Although there was not any terrorism organizations claimed
responsibility for this disappearance, a lot of people still believed in the assumption. Some
suspects were interrogated by Malaysian counterterrorism forces but no one who was arrested
related to this accident. People thought about two passengers who carried fake passports were
the authors of this plot. David Learmount, pilot and journalist safety flights of Flight Global
magazine, said: "Something happened and the pilot did not inform anyone. It is strange when the
pilot can not contact with air traffic control station while they have plenty of time"
MH370 was shot is another rumor. This airplane could be shoot by American army because they
thought this was Thailand aircraft. This hypothesis was reinforced in a book called "The Mystery
flight MH370" by British author Nigel Cawthorne. In this book, Mr. Cawthorne said that the
aircraft could be shot down accidentally and the book described disappearance of Malaysian
Airlines plane was "the biggest mystery since the sailors on the aboard of the Mary Celeste
disappeared in the late 19th century". However, relatives of victims criticized this book is
impulsive. Besides, Marc Dugain, former executive director of Proteus Airlines, said that the

plane was shot down near a US military base on Diego Garcia island, after the flight was
diverted to the area because its control computer system was stolen. According to IBTimes,
Dugain speculated that soldiers at US bases in the Indian Ocean afraid that planes would be used
to prepare a terrorism, therefore, they shot down this plane. A fisherman saw a giant plane, with
red and blue lines on a white background was flying on the sky as soon as MH370 disappeared
on March 8th
. In addition, an empty fire extinguisher from the plane had been got by local
people from the sea.
Another reason that was given to explain this disappearance was MH370’s pilot suicided. After
the fragments of aircraft that were suspected of MH370 washed ashore on Reunion Island in the
Indian Ocean, a lot of consumptions were given by experts, they believe that the pilot Zaharie
Ahmad Shah crashed the plane, he suicided with all passengers on the board. Moreover, the
Telegraph of England led a source close to the investigation said the agency officials were
leaning ability aircraft crashed due to pilot's suicide. The source said there was not indication of
engine problems or fire on board. The credibility of this source has not been determined,
Malaysian authorities had only concluded that the aircraft was diverted someone deliberately,
turned its head and flew along the border of Malaysia and Thailand. Malaysian Transport
Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said police have questioned more than 100 people, including
family and a vice captain. Simon Hardy, the captain of the Boeing 777, who has 17 years
experience and memorize all of the flight route in Asia, confirmed "The aircraft flew in and out
of this country 8 times. That is probably a very accurate flight path, not just random, by air
traffic control in such countries may mistakenly aircraft management in the area of other
countries and not paying attention. Someone had wanted to look at Penang so the plane circled
the island of Penang, home of Captain Shah". Captain Shah, 53 years old, started working for
4. 4
Malaysia Airlines in 1981 and has more than 18,000 flight hours. He is described as a funny
person, has two sons, a daughter and a grandson. There were rumors that he had problems with
his marriage, but his family denied this. Unnamed friend, also a pilot, said that Shah could drive
the Boeing 777 for a "fun outing last" before it crashed in southern Indian Ocean. Malaysia
detectives also found the captain did not have future plans. He left blank diary work and social
activity, unlike others in the crew. However, in a 584 page report published earlier this year, the
investigators did not find evidence to support the hypothesis that one or both pilots had
deliberately diverted and the aircraft crashed into the sea and investigators also did not find
anything unusual. The report wrote about Shah "The ability to handle stress in the workplace and
his home was fine. There was not a history of easy worried, angry or apathetic character. Nor
was there a significant change in his lifestyle, or have a sign that he had conflicts with others or
stress in the family". A few days before the report was published, the captain's sister had
criticized the media, she said that they have tried to blame his brother. She said that Shah had a
“flying spotless record" and "there is no abnormal expression" before the disaster occurred.
Consumption is supported by a lot of people that was a fire on MH370, it caused all of people on
the board were killed. However the fire was off before it could do serious damage for the
aircraft. This explained why the aircraft moved the wrong line and flew automatic route in a long
time. According to aviation experts, if this hypothesis was correct, plane would crash into the
water at speeds over 800 km/h, after dropping down from a height of 10km because gasoline
depleted."The aircraft will be crashed into the water and bearing strong impact like hitting
concrete. It would appear a huge explosion, the wings were torned and fuselage shattered.
Nobody could survive after impact"- commented the expert.

However, a reason that got support from a lot of people is the involvement of corporations
Freescale. On the flight MH370 had 20 employees, 12 people from Malaysia and eight people
from China of US company Freescale Semiconductor. The company manufactures electronic
chips that are very effective for many different fields, including the national defense industry.
This led to a speculation that this group held an important secret that the US government feared
the information would fall into the hands of the Chinese authorities. So hijackers attacked
aircraft and brought to US bases in Diego Garcia. Other versions of the hypothesis that China has
controlled flight for questioning employees of Freescale to find out the extent of the US tracking,
or Iran has used stolen passports to control technology of Freescale.
Besides that still exist many hypotheses concerning the mysterious disappearance like the
appearance of aliens, bad weather, the MH370 was MH17, serving for terrorists in Pakistan, etc.
On August 6th
daybreak, Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak confirmed on television that the
aircraft debris that was found on the island of Reunion was a part of MH370’s body, but until
now, we still do not have any new information about the aircraft and the disappearance of
MH370 remains a mystery.
